Diego Lopez Rodriguez (Spanish pronunciation: [djeɣo lopeθ], born 3 November 1981) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Real Madrid as a goalkeeper.
After spending seven years under contract with Real Madrid, in the representation of the various teams, he made a name for himself in La Liga with Villarreal, appearing in more than 200 official games for five seasons. In 2013 he returned to Real Madrid.
Lopez represented Spain in the 2009 Confederations Cup.
